Join the Milford Eagle Ambassadors!

Milford Schools is seeking passionate parents, staff, alumni, and community members to join our Eagle Ambassadors team!

As an Eagle Ambassador, you'll play an essential role in spreading positive news, staying informed about district initiatives, and strengthening connections between our schools and the community. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or looking to get more involved, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact!

What is the Eagle Ambassadors Program?

The Eagle Ambassadors program is a district-led program designed to educate and inform community members about Milford Schools. It was created based on parent feedback—many wanted ways to get involved and stay informed without joining a PTO or PAC.

It is not a Political Action Committee (PAC), Citizens Advisory Commission (CAC), or Community Advisory Team (CAT).

Our goal is to enhance community involvement by providing factual information, sharing the stories of our students and staff, and equipping ambassadors to serve as a positive voice for Milford Schools.

What Can You Expect as an Eagle Ambassador?

  • District updates – Stay informed on important school news, programs, and upcoming events.

  • Community engagement opportunities – Participate in key district events and help share the positive stories happening in Milford Schools.

  • Networking & connection – Build relationships with other ambassadors, district staff, and community members.

  • Advocacy & support – Help promote the achievements of our students and staff while ensuring accurate information is shared.

  • Flexible involvement – Attend quarterly meetings and support events that fit your schedule.

Your Role as an Ambassador:

Communication & Advocacy

As an Eagle Ambassador, you serve as a positive voice and advocate for Milford Schools. Your role includes:

  • Speaking positively about the district in public, online, and personal conversations.

  • Sharing successes, achievements, and milestones through official district channels such as the website, newsletters, and social media.

  • Promoting positive stories about student success, staff dedication, and school programs.

  • Redirecting concerns through proper district channels rather than engaging in misinformation or public disputes.

  • Sharing factual information with neighbors, friends, and local groups to strengthen community understanding.

  • Actively communicating the district’s achievements, vision, and impact to the broader community.

  • Engaging with parents, stakeholders, and community members to advocate for Milford Schools.

  • Serving as a bridge to those who may not actively follow school updates.

To support you in this role, Milford Schools will host a training session for all Eagle Ambassadors on Monday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Milford Board of Education Office. This session will provide you with talking points, resources, and tools to help you confidently share our story with the community.
