Opt-Out Information

There is no law that allows a parent or student to opt out of state testing and there is no state test opt-out procedure or form. There are consequences for students, teachers, and districts when students do not participate in state tests. The Ohio Department of Education has resources detailing these consequences on their website. Please view here for more information.
