We are excited to announce that starting in the 2025-2026 school year, the Milford Exempted Village School District (MEVSD) will move its preschool program to include two locations: Mulberry Elementary School (5950 Buckwheat Rd, Milford, OH 45150) and Pattison Elementary School (5330 S Milford Rd, Milford, OH 45150). Students will be assigned to these preschools based on their home address.

The preschool program offered by Milford Schools is half-day sessions only. Students currently using Right At School services will still be eligible for continuing services for the 2025-2026 school year. Right at School operates independently and is not overseen by Milford Schools. For more information about their services, please visit: https://www.rightatschool.com.  Additional information will be sent in the spring to families remaining with Right at School.

Half-Day Preschool will operate Monday through Thursday at the same time as Kindergarten.  Designated schools for preschool attendance will be assigned based on your residential attendance boundary as follows: 

• Mulberry Elementary: Mulberry, Boyd E. Smith, or McCormick Elementary 

• Pattison Elementary: Pattison, Seipelt, or Meadowview Elementary

In addition to the standard tuition costs, a one-time $65 non-refundable registration fee, paid by check or money order only, payable to the Milford Board of Education is required. Tuition costs are as follows:

• 3-year old typical Preschool (Mon-Thurs) $59/week

• 4-year old typical Preschool (Mon-Thurs ) $59/week

*No preschool tuition is required by law for children who qualify for special needs 

To enroll in Milford Preschool for the 2025-2026 school year, children must be 3 or 4 years old by August 1, 2025.

When enrolling your child, you will need to provide the following documents:

• Color scan/photo of the original birth certificate

• Color scan/photo of parent’s driver's license

• Vaccine Record

• Court/Custody Documentation/Divorce Decree/Shared Parenting Plan (when applicable) full document, no redactions; filed and stamped.

• Proof of residency

  • Board-approved documents include water or electric bill (active and current, dated within the last 60 days), current lease agreements, mortgage account statements (dated within the last 60 days), property tax bills, tax statements from the Clermont County Auditor website, purchase agreement on a house that will close within the next 60 days, or a notarized document stating that you will be building in the district within the next 90 days.

  • You may be considered for a residency affidavit if you live with a Milford resident and cannot provide one of the above. Contact the Milford Administrative Offices at 513.831.1314 for further details.

Priority registration is available for families with children already enrolled in Milford preschool program. This allows families who want continued services for their qualifying child to remain with the District. Priority registration runs from December 2 - 20, 2024.

Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, we are also extending priority registration to siblings of current preschoolers who meet the age requirements.

To take advantage of priority registration, families must be current on their fees. The registration fee is waived for children who qualify for special education services with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). Please note that transportation will only be provided to those who qualify for special education services.

All eligible families were sent a priority registration packet on Monday, December 2, 2024.

The Milford Preschool Lottery ensures fairness in the enrollment process by giving all families an equal opportunity to secure a spot in our program. Enrollment is not first-come, first-served; instead, all completed enrollments will be considered equally.

Lottery Dates:

• Opens: January 6, 2025 @ 9 a.m.

• Closes: January 31, 2025 @ Midnight

Families can expect to receive notification of their status by February 14, 2025. We may notify families sooner if possible.

On January 6, 2025, the Preschool Intent to Register Form will be go live. Please click the button below to complete the form.

Important: The Pre-Registration Link will only be sent to families after successfully completing the Intent to Register Form. This link will be included in the confirmation email sent directly to the email address provided on the form.
