Earlier this month, Milford High School welcomed our German American Partnership Program (GAPP) exchange partners from Königswinter, Germany! 🇩🇪
Thirteen students and their teachers, Dennis Kempf and Martina Heidel, are spending two weeks learning, exploring, and connecting with their Milford host families. During their stay, they’ve been getting a true taste of American high school life, from attending classes to celebrating Homecoming and joining the fun at our parade!
The GAPP program has brought students together across continents for decades, creating opportunities to learn, travel, and share new experiences. As our German friends finish up their visit, we’re proud Milford is part of their American adventure.

Mrs. Chitwood’s class is feeling the Halloween spirit in full force. This week, students put their creativity to the test by writing their own spooky stories and reading them aloud in a classroom decorated with webs, vines, and a flickering mini “campfire.” It was the perfect setting for a chillingly fun time! 🎃👻

To celebrate an amazing first quarter with their new principal, Seipelt staff "jean-uinely" made sure Principal Yeager felt part of the team by gifting him his very own Seipelt “jean jacket” to match the staff.
Along with the jacket, students shared heartfelt notes and goodies to thank him for making the start of the school year so great. Looks like he’s officially fitting in just right!

Fall Break begins on Friday, October 10, which is a Teacher Work Day across the District. Students will return to school on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Enjoy this beautiful change in the weather!

Students at Seipelt Elementary School celebrated reaching their PBIS goal with a mini field day! To mark the achievement, Miami Township Police and Fire stopped by to talk with students, show off their gear, and join in on the fun and games.

The Milford Middle School went retro today, rocking poodle skirts, leather jackets, and 1950s flair! Our 7th graders donned their best Greaser or Soc looks for the annual “Outsiders Day,” where literature met school spirit.
As part of their novel study of The Outsiders, students celebrated the story’s timeless themes by stepping into the shoes of their favorite characters. It was a fun reminder for everyone that it’s cool to be kind and to “stay gold.”

Last week, students gathered data through a fun taste test where they got to try each type of apple and record which color they thought tasted the best.

ICYMI:
These past few weeks, some of our Milford Schools wrapped up another round of Walkathons and fundraisers — and our students showed up in full force! Thanks to their hard work and the incredible support of our community, every school hit its donation milestone! To celebrate their success, students danced in costumes, ran through bursts of color, and enjoyed fun outdoor activities — making every moment count.

Kindness is in full swing at Pattison Elementary! Our students are collecting socks throughout Sock-tober to help people in need, and our kindergarteners are leading the way with big hearts and even bigger smiles!
Keep those donations coming to help keep feet warm and snug as the weather turns cold.
Way to go, Pattison!
Students from Milford High School visited Impacting Tomorrow to lend a helping hand . They were sorting, hanging, and organizing clothing donations that will go to families in need.
Way to go, Eagles, for showing what it means to serve with heart and purpose!

Principal Yeager and Ms. Wanamaker celebrated these students for showing respect and kindness on levels that were truly out of this world! 🚀 A big thank-you to Pops Donuts for treating our honorees with a special coupon in recognition of their stellar behavior and positive example.

Today Milford Schools celebrated our Wings Up Pep Rallies, a tradition where high school athletes and band members bring the spirit of Milford to schools across the district. With perfect fall weather as the backdrop, students cheered, clapped, and soaked in the excitement, including fun costume races hosted at the Middle School.

This modern, pop-driven musical gives the six wives of Henry VIII a voice of their own as they remix five hundred years of history into a high-energy celebration of girl power and resilience. (Poster created by MHS senior, Chloe Call)

And it ain’t just the high school ridin’ into the fun. Mulberry Elementary students lassoed the spirit too, showin’ off their best chaps and cowboy hats.
Giddy up, Eagles. It’s Homecoming week and we’re ridin’ strong!

Mr. Fitzhugh’s 6th-graders turned the Falcon section of Milford Middle into a world tour as they reviewed the five themes of geography. Using a scavenger hunt with world flags as clues, students worked together to connect locations, places, and regions to real-world examples! You could say these Eagles are really going places!
