Weekend Events

Senior Speed Mentoring (Tuesday, November 19)-

Speed Mentoring is a joint program that we run with the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce Work Readiness Initiative.

Speed Mentoring is a fun and fast-paced event at which volunteers from the business community meet with small groups of students to talk about their work experiences and students' plans for the future. Small groups of 7-10 students meet with several volunteer mentors during a fast-paced event to explore various career paths and job responsibilities. Mentors share their own experiences in the workplace along with information on their employer and work readiness skills.

Every seven minutes a new group of students will come to each mentor's table. In all, each group of students will meet with about 8 -10 mentors during the course of this event.

*If you are a parent/guardian/community member, and you would like to participate as a mentor for this event, you can

REGISTER HERE

to volunteer. Volunteer timing would be 9:30am - 11:15am on Tuesday, November 19.
