What is PBIS?

PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports. It is a system of teaching expected behaviors across all school settings and positively reinforcing when students meet those expectations. The purpose of PBIS is to establish and maintain a safe and effective school environment that maximizes academic achievement and behavioral competence.

• At Mulberry, our expectations are that students are Respectful, Responsible, Ready, and Safe.

Mulberry Elementary takes pride in its ongoing implementation of PBIS. We were honored to receive the "silver level" recognition once again from Ohio's PBIS Recognition Program for the past school year.
