The Milford High School Athletic Department and the Milford Athletic Boosters Club are pleased to announce inductions for the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The following individuals have been chosen by the Hall of Fame committee for enshrinement. They are:
• Kayla (Gregory) Gresh, Class of 2014
• Cameron Kells, Class of 2019
• Dave Meranda, Contributor
The trio will be inducted into the Hall of Fame prior to Milford’s boys varsity basketball game on Friday, January 31. Festivities included a pre-induction reception and dinner for the new inductees, their families and friends and the current members of the Milford Hall of Fame.
Inductees will receive a plaque recognizing their accomplishments from the Milford Athletic Boosters Club. Each inductee’s name will be added to the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame recognition plaque located in the Fley Center lobby at Milford High School.
Induction Class of 2025 Bios
Kayla (Gregory) Gresh (Class of 2014)
• A two-time Eastern Cincinnati Conference Softball Player of the Year selection
• Was three times named All-Ohio, including second team as a junior and senior
• Earned all-conference first team honors all four years of career
• A three-time first team all-city honoree
• Finished career with a batting average over .470, along with 183 hits, 50 doubles, 148 runs scored and 84 RBI
• Led Milford to its first-ever conference championship in softball as a senior
• Went on to enjoy a three-year playing career at Bowling Green State University
Cameron Kells (Class of 2019)
• A two-time first team All-Eastern Cincinnati Conference Football selection
• Named the ECC Offensive Player of the Year as a senior
• Was also second team All-Ohio and first team All-Southwest District during senior campaign
• Finished senior campaign with 1,607 rushing and 348 receiving yards and 33 total touchdowns
• Set a school record with seven touchdowns in an epic victory over Anderson
• Scored the game-winning touchdown in helping Milford to its first-ever playoff victory over Fairfield
• Owned or shared 14 Milford school records at the time of graduation
• Was also an all-conference lacrosse player during his career
Dave Meranda (Contributor)
• Served for over 20 years as President of the Milford Athletic Boosters Board of Directors
• Helped spearhead fundraising for many important projects including the installation of turf at Eagle Stadium Powered by Cullen Electric
• Along with his wife, Kathy, made a sizable financial contributor to the construction of Milford’s new fieldhouse which bears the name Meranda Sports Complex
• Served the Milford community as a member of the Board of Education and later as President
