ECC Athletes of the Week October 7

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Caden Bailey
Senior, Milford Football
Caden scored both of Milford's touchdowns in the Eagles' heartbreaking loss to Lebanon. He opened the night on the receiving end of a 72-yard touchdown pass and later recorded his first career special teams touchdown on a 96-yard kickoff return.

Milford Senior Cross Country Runners
Milford Cross Country
Seniors Claire McFarland, Mahima Vasa, Ali Maglecic, Corrine Newman, Lilly Braun, Caroline Brinker, Allyson Hendricks, Ava Thompson, Katie Tassielo, and Zoe Hams had their final home meet of the season yesterday. The contributions that they have made over four years have helped to raise the program to new heights. They are all vital members of the Milford girls cross country family.

Paul Donovan
Freshman, Milford Cross Country
Paul has been consistently working hard, staying positive, and being a great teammate. His quiet leadership and commitment to doing things the right way have had a huge impact on his teammates. All of Paul’s hard work showed out on the race course this weekend, as he ran an almost two-minute PR at our home meet!

Nick Henke
Senior, Milford Soccer
Nick scored his 53rd and 54th goal of his high school career Tuesday night against Princeton. The second goal tied his brother's record which is both a Milford HS and ECC record for most career goals. Two days later, he broke the record with two goals against West Clermont.

RJ Smith
Senior, Milford Soccer
RJ has been the anchor in the back all season and helped Milford achieve nine shutouts in 16 games. This past week, RJ also contributed to the offense by scoring in back-to-back games against West Clermont and Madeira. RJ has six goals on the season.
