Following a sluggish first half, the Milford High School boys basketball team turned in a huge second half to overcome a 14-point halftime deficit en route to a 64-58 win at Shroder on Tuesday night. The Eagles scored 27 points in the fourth quarter to charge to their 12th win of the year. Brad Hall had a monster 20-point, 13-rebound performance to lead the victors.

- After falling behind 7-6 in the first two and a half minutes, Milford bolted into the lead on the strength of a 7-0 run, but ultimately trailed 16-15 after one period.
- The Jaguars enjoyed an outstanding second quarter, shooting 63 percent (10 of 16) and doubling up the Eagles (22-11) to take a 38-26 lead into the break.
- Shroder opened up a 14-point lead early in the third, but Milford used a trio of three-pointers to cut the deficit to four with 4:43 to play.
- A 10-0 run by the Eagles to start the fourth turned a six-point deficit into a four-point lead with just over two minutes gone.
- In a 27-point fourth quarter explosion, Milford made 7 of 10 field goals and 12 of 14 from the line.
NUGGETS OF NOTE
- With 20 points and 13 rebounds, Hall posted his third double-double of the year and the fifth of his career.
- One night after establishing a career-high in points, Engelman tallied a new high with five assists.
- Milford’s 27 fourth quarter points were the teams most in a quarter this season.
- The Eagles won the rebounding battle for the 14th time this season (32-26).
