Vaccine Clinic Aug. 16 for Grades 7-12

Information for parents of students in grades 7 through 12: We are partnering with Clermont County Public Health to offer all required and recommended vaccines for 7th and 12th graders. The vaccine clinic will be held Monday, August 16 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Milford High School’s gymnasium. 

Vaccines offered during the clinic August 16:

  • Tdap/Pertussis - this vaccine is required for students entering grade 7. Students must have proof of vaccination OR a parent/guardian must sign this waiver by September 8 or the student will be excluded from attending school.

  • Meningococcal ACWY - this vaccine is required for students entering grade 7 and a booster is required for all students entering grade 12. Students must have proof of vaccination OR a parent/guardian must sign this waiver by September 8 or the student will be excluded from attending school.

  • Meningococcal B - this vaccine is recommended for students between the ages of 16 and 18 but is not required.

  • Covid-19 - this vaccine is recommended but is not required.

  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV) - this vaccine is recommended but is not required

To participate in the vaccine clinic on August 16, parents must call to schedule an appointment for their child: call Clermont County Public Health at (513) 735-8400. The intent of this clinic is to assist students in obtaining the required and recommended vaccines for school.

If your child receives the COVID-19 vaccine during this clinic on August 16, the second dose will be administered on September 7 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Milford Central Office, 1099 State Route 131. 

Don’t delay in making an appointment for your child: (513) 735-8400. Appointments are limited and are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. No walk-ins are permitted at this vaccine clinic. 

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: CCPH accepts most insurances and Medicaid. CCPH also participates in the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) which allows them to provide vaccines at no cost to children who are uninsured, are American Indian, or an Alaskan Native. A parent or legal guardian of the student must be present in order for the student to be vaccinated.  Students presenting to the clinic without a parent or legal guardian will not be seen. The student must bring a copy of their immunization record to the clinic.  Students without their immunization record will not be seen. The student must bring a copy of their health insurance card.
