Special Board Meeting on School Safety
The Milford Exempted Village School District Board of Education is holding a Special Board Meeting to gather public input on school safety. This listening session will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, beginning at 7 p.m. at Mulberry Elementary, 5950 Buckwheat Road, Milford, Ohio.
“The issue of school safety is on the forefront right now. We want to work together with our school community to do everything we can to ensure the safety of our students and staff,” said Board President, George Lucas. “This meeting is for us to listen and learn what our community has to say about school safety. We will take this input and use it to reevaluate our safety plan and procedures.”
The special meeting will allow individuals to speak to the Board members in open session. To give everyone the opportunity to speak, the meeting will follow the Board’s typical rules for public participation. Each speaker will be allowed three minutes to share his or her input. Feedback can also be shared with Board members via letters sent to the Board of Education Office, 777 Garfield Avenue, Milford or via email.
