Milford Grad Featured on Area Billboards

Posted on: March 3, 2015

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. In recognition of this special month, Milford High School graduate Aaron Strait will be the face of Clermont County Developmental Disabilities on local billboards across the Tri-State Area promoting awareness of the strengths and achievements of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Aaron had a successful career through the Milford schools. He began kindergarten at Boyd E. Smith and attended Seipelt from first through sixth grade before moving to Milford Junior High. Aaron ended his high school career in the Autism classroom with Trena Panko, who provided him with many opportunities both academically and in preparation for the workforce. Aaron is now employed at the Milford Panera.

Aaron is also an accomplished artist who has been recognized for his work throughout the Great Cincinnati Area and is very involved with the Autism Society. While Aaron is enjoying his new career at Panera, he is continuing his passion for art and has begun his own foundation, Aaron's Art for Autism, which is launching next month during Autism Awareness Month. He will donate 50% of the profits back to the Autism Society. For additional information or to purchase available art, please contact Trena Panko, panko_t@milfordsschools.org or Jennie Berkley, berkley_j@milfordschools.org
