Video of District's First CAT meeting

Posted on: July 3, 2019
CAT 1

The first meeting of the Milford School District's Community Advisory Team (CAT) was held on June 27, 2019. The team's goal is to develop a consensus facility master plan to present to the Milford Board of Education in September.

In this first meeting, Milford Superintendent Nancy House gave a presentation on the district's history with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC), reviewed the status and condition of the district's current buildings, and the aspirations and vision the district has for preparing our students for their future.

The next CAT meeting will be on July 17, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at the district's administrative offices at 1099 State Route 131, Milford, OH.  In that session, the team will start developing master plan options. During the week of August 5, the district will hold the first of several community open forums to provide an update on the CAT process.

This first meeting was a productive and collaborative session. We appreciate everyone's engagement and enthusiasm for finding a resolution to the district's master plan.
