Dr. Robert Farrell Honored by Chamber
On October 19, the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce honored Dr. Robert Farrell at its 2016 Business and Community Awards Gala. This event celebrates the businesses and individuals in our community who stand out for the work that they do on a daily basis and look to the good of the community before that of even themselves.
Here's an excerpt of what Milford Board Member, Andrea Brady, shared about Dr. Farrell during the awards presentation:
"Schools have always been a source of pride in Milford, and especially among our business leaders, who support the district in so very many ways. During Dr. Farrell’s first year, relations between the business community and the district were shaky at best.
Nine years later, Dr. Farrell leaves Milford strong, successful and heading in a positive direction. He leaves an attitude of collaboration, of expectation, of confidence. He leaves secure and robust relations with our local leaders. He leaves us not only so much better than when he started, but as a district that is healthy and fruitful in its own right. We can never thank you enough, Dr. Farrell."
