Milford's Robotics Teams Dominate Competiton

Milford had 10 teams in the Great Oaks VEX Robotics Competition on January 27, and all 10 qualified for the final elimination bracket. In the elimination rounds, the top 8 teams select two other teams from the field to form a three-team alliance. Of the 24 final teams, Milford had 10! One of the Milford Alliances advanced to the finals and lost in a close match. The tournament finalists and other award winners have all qualified for the Ohio State Championships.
Milford will be hosting its first VEX Robotics Competition on Saturday, February 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Milford Junior High School.
“All are welcome to stop by to watch 60 teams from 18 schools and 8 different cities in Ohio compete head-to-head. More than 700 people will be in attendance in the MJHS gym,” said Matt Arnett, Milford Engineering and Robotics Boosters President.
