Milford’s Feed our Flock team will be providing a special holiday gift bag to 71 students in 7-12th grades who have been identified by staff as students who could benefit from something a little extra for the holidays and long winter break.

In the event of a weather-related delay or closing, Milford Schools will notify parents via text, email, and phone with the contact information entered on FinalForms. This information is also posted on the website, social media, and local media outlets.

It's a long-standing tradition in Milford to award honorary high school diplomas to veterans who did not earn their diplomas from Milford High School because of their service to our country. The Board meeting will be held on Thursday, November 15, at 7 p.m. at the district's administrative offices at 1099 State Route 131.

A historic win came in epic fashion on Friday, November 2, as Milford High School's football team stormed back from a 35-7 deficit a minute into the third quarter to knock off a stunned Fairfield squad 39-35. The victory is Milford’s first-ever in the OHSAA Playoffs.

Milford concluded another historic football season. Our team finished the year with an incredible 8-2 record and has been awarded the #4 seed in the Division 1, Region 4 playoffs. Milford Junior High School was selected as one of just 56 schools across the nation to create ornaments for the National Christmas Tree on the Ellipse in Washington D.C.

Milford High School DECA marketing students are planning their annual Remembrance at the Meadows program for Saturday, October 27, from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Spirit of ’76 Park.

Adolescent anxiety and depression will be the topic of Milford Junior High School’s Family Engagement Series on November 5 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the MJHS Media Center. 

We are excited to announce the new brand for Milford Schools! Our new brand was officially adopted by the Milford Board of Education last night.

Milford students in grades 7-12 now have access to a new mobile app called StudentSuite, which provides encouragement, education, resources and support regarding the topics of bullying, drugs/alcohol/tobacco use, and emotional well-being issues.

Milford Schools is offering parents, staff, students, and community members an opportunity to share their input through an online forum called ThoughtExchange. The first ThoughtExchange will run from September 17-27, 2018.

Milford Schools, in partnership with Greater Cincinnati’s Grant Us Hope, is proud to bring Hope Squad to students at Milford High School this school year. Milford is one of more than 20 schools in the Greater Cincinnati region to implement this national school-based peer-to-peer suicide prevention program.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 29, from 5:45 p.m. - 8 p.m. for College 101--the largest college event of the year at Milford High School! At this event, you will be able to attend financial aid presentations, college admissions rep presentations, plus have the opportunity to meet with the reps themselves in a college fair setting. Although this may seem early for those who are not in high school, it is actually a great time to start planning.

Mr. Brian S. Rabe has been named the next Treasurer of the Milford Exempted Village Milford School District. He was approved at the Board of Education meeting held on May 10, 2018.

Milford Engineering Expo & Career Day will be held on Saturday, May 5, from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM at the Milford Junior High School Gym. This is a free event designed for the whole Milford community, especially students in K-12, to see and experience all that Milford Schools has to offer for engineering classes and engineering clubs.

The Milford-Miami Township Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual “Celebration of Excellence” dinner to area educators on Wednesday, April 25, at the Oasis Conference Center. 

Milford School District and Miami Township have named Officer Keith Benhase for the position of School Resource Officer (SRO) at Milford Junior High School. Officer Benhase will assume this role in August.

Milford Exempted Village School District and Miami Township have joined forces to add an additional school resource officer (SRO) beginning in the 2018-2019 school year.

On April 2, the Milford School District announced that Mr. Donald Baker will become the district’s new Coordinator of Special Education beginning in the 2018-2019 school year.  

Milford School District held its first ThoughtExchange in the fall. More than 700 individuals shared input on the future direction of our school district and the knowledge and opportunities our students will need to be successful. 

Due to weather conditions, Milford Schools are CLOSED for Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Roads in some parts of the district are not safe for travel.  Extended day will be open at 8 a.m. at the Route 28 location only.

The Milford Exempted Village School District Board of Education is holding a Special Board Meeting to gather public input on school safety. This listening session will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, beginning at 7 p.m. at Mulberry Elementary.

In the 2018-2019 school year, familiar faces will take on new administrative roles in the district. Ms. Sarah Greb, current Principal of Charles L. Seipelt Elementary, will become the Principal of Mulberry Elementary. Milford Preschool Director, Mrs. Minna Espy, is being recommended to become the Assistant Principal at Mulberry. Mrs. Sarah Sloan, current Mulberry Principal, will become the new Director of the Milford Preschool.

At the Milford Board of Education meeting held on February 15, 2018, Mr. Dan Yeager was approved as the district’s new  Director of Fine Arts, Activities and Assistant Athletics for grades 7-12. 

The Milford Eagles robotics teams dominated their most recent competition! Milford had 10 teams in the Great Oaks VEX Robotics Competition on January 27, and all 10 qualified for the final elimination bracket.

Registration meetings for incoming 7th graders to MJHS will take place from Monday, January 29 through Wednesday, February 7.  MJHS counselor, Julie Beelman, will visit each elementary school to meet with students during the school day and will follow up with parent meetings in the evenings at each elementary building.

The district emailed a letter to parents on January 18 to inform them that there is an increase in the number of cases of flu in the schools and community. Click read more to view the letter.
