Athletic/Sports physical evaluations will be offered by Mercy Health at Milford High School cafeteria on Wednesday, May 10, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. This is open to any student entering grades 7-12 next year and fulfills the physical requirement for sports and Marching Band. The cost is $20.

This semester, Milford High School photojournalism students are tackling the issues surrounding the heroin epidemic. Their photos and stories will be showcased in an exhibition entitled, No Boundaries, on May 8, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Miami Township Civic Center, 6101 Meijer Drive, in Milford.

We are proud to announce that Milford High School has been recognized as one of only 447 Districts in the nation to appear on CollegeBoard's National AP District Honor Roll. This represents the third time Milford High School has appeared on the AP Honor Roll in the eight years that it has been published.

The Milford Athletic Boosters is holding its annual craft show on Saturday, December 2, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Milford High School. There will be more than 300 booths with a range of handmade crafts.

Milford High School's Fall show "Exhibit This! The Museum Comedies" runs November 17-19. The show is about a tour of the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art where the artworks come alive and interact with patrons, tour guides, and guards.

Teacher inservice days have taken on a whole new look in Milford Schools this school year. The district is now focused on personalized professional learning. This professional learning approach is an active process enabling educators to take responsibility for their own learning.

Milford High School history teacher Anna O'Neill has launched a 20-week genealogy challenge designed to inspire students, staff, and community of Milford to explore their own history. The challenge started on October 16, 2017.

This school year, the Milford School District will be using Thoughtexchange, an online learning process that will allow us to reach out to parents, staff, community members, and students on a variety of topics. Our first Thoughtexchange will take place September 25-October 9, 2017.

The Martha Holden Jennings Foundation recently named 13 teachers in southwest Ohio a “Jennings Fellow.”  Four of the 13 teachers selected are Milford School District teachers!

To raise funds needed for Milford High School's Autism Assistance Service Dog, a pet and family-friendly fundraiser will be held in August. “A Dog’s Day in August” will be held at Miami Meadows Park on Saturday, August 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A 5K owner/dog walk will take place at 10 a.m. in the park.

As the 2016-2017 school year comes to a close, the Milford School District is asking for input from our parents on a variety of important topics that will help us improve our school district. If you have children in more than one school, you are able to take the survey multiple times to share feedback for each child/school. The survey will close on Wednesday, May 24.

Milford Exempted Village School District staff, students, retirees and business partners were recognized at the Milford-Miami Township Chamber of Commerce “Celebration of Excellence” dinner held on April 26. Read all about their achievements!

U.S. News & World Report has just released its Best High Schools rankings. Milford High School has received a silver medal and was ranked #27 out of all public high schools in the state of Ohio. 

On Sunday, April 9, Milford High School's Student Council held its first-ever "Prom Without Limits" for students with disabilities from Milford and other local schools and created a wonderful night to remember.

Auditor of State Dave Yost’s office gave the Milford Exempted Village School District the State Auditor Award for a perfect audit. The award is based on the most recent financial audit conducted by the state for the 2015-2016 school year.

At Milford's Board of Education meeting on March 16, Mr. Paul Daniels was hired as the Director of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction for Milford Schools. Mr. Daniels has worked in education for 14 years, seven as a teacher and seven as an administrator.

The District is pleased to announce that Milford High School is now using the Raptor Visitor Management System to enhance campus safety for students and faculty.  The Raptor system will better allow us to track visitors and volunteers in our schools and provide us with a safer environment for our students and staff.  In the upcoming months, the Raptor system will be implemented in all of our schools.

For the 2017-18 school year, parents of incoming 7th through 12th graders must provide documentation of immunization compliance (on physician letterhead and/or with physician signature) to the student’s school of attendance.

Milford's 3rd annual Game of Hope will be held on Wednesday, January 25.  The Milford and Turpin Basketball families are uniting once again to raise money for "The Cure Starts Now Foundation" and the fight against cancer.
