New Student App Available
Milford students in grades 7-12 now have access to a new mobile app called StudentSuite, which provides encouragement, education, resources and support regarding the topics of bullying, drugs/alcohol/tobacco use, and emotional well-being issues such as anxiety, depression, and self-harm. The StudentSuite app contains approximately 70 courses for students to consume at their own pace. Points are awarded for reading content; students then use those points to claim prizes from local vendors such as Scene 75, Chick-fil-a, Texas Roadhouse, Kings Island, and Sonic Drive-In.
StudentSuite can help address these issues, particularly those around mental health concerns, providing on-the-spot assistance whenever your child’s smartphone is handy. Local and national resources are included in the app, allowing students and their parents the ability to find more assistance with an issue if needed.
