Milford Exempted Village Schools are among many districts locally that have experienced a critical number of staff and student absences due to illness and quarantines.

Because of the difficulty we currently face staffing our classrooms, Milford Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022. This will be a calamity day and no remote learning is required. Extended day services will still be available for those enrolled in the program at the preschool location, beginning at 8 a.m.  All day care fees will apply. Custodial staff will be conducting a thorough cleaning of our facilities during this day off.

Our schools are already closed on Monday, Jan. 17 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

When students and staff return to school on Wednesday, our short-term masking requirement for grades PreK-12 will still be in effect.

This closure is a result of staff absences impacting our school day. At this time, extracurricular activities will continue as scheduled. Any changes will be communicated by coaches and advisers.

Should the numbers of positive cases and quarantines warrant any additional changes in our calendar, we will communicate with you promptly.
