Milford Board to Award Diplomas to Deserving Vets

Posted on: November 7, 2018
Diploma

It's a long-standing tradition in Milford to award honorary high school diplomas to veterans who did not earn their diplomas from Milford High School because of their service to our country.

At its November meeting, the Milford Board of Education will be honoring Clell P. Steagall posthumously. We are looking for a family member to receive Steagall's honorary diploma. Steagall left Milford High School to enlist in the U.S. Army in 1941. He fought in the Battle of Bataan and survived the Bataan Death March and later died in a POW Camp.

Clell Steagall’s Family Members:
Robert - Father
Hannah - Mother
Faye - Sister
Luther - Brother
Willard - Brother

If you are a friend or relative of Clell Steagall, please contact the district administrative offices at (513) 831-1314. The Board meeting will be held on Thursday, November 15, at 7 p.m. at the district's administrative offices at 1099 State Route 131.
