Milford Art Students Excel in Scholastic Competition
Jenna Bellonby-Dramatic Entrance-Gold Key Winner
Milford High School art students have earned numerous honors in the regional 2017 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Competition. Overall, Milford students earned four Gold Keys, ten Silver Keys, and five Honorable Mentions. Sophomore Jenna Bellonby earned seven of these honors, including three Gold Keys. Sophomore Lydia Krage also earned a Gold Key for her artwork. Gold Key works are automatically considered for national-level recognition. National Medalists will be honored at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
High school students throughout the area who received Gold Keys, Silver Keys, and Honorable Mentions will have their artwork on display at the Art Academy of Cincinnati from January 20, at 8:00 a.m. through February 3, 5:00 p.m. The Art Academy is located at 1212 Jackson Street, Cincinnati, Ohio.
