MHS Stadium Renovations

Improvements are being made to Milford High School's stadium this summer. New ADA-compliant bleachers are being installed on the north side of the stadium which will expand seating from 1,000 to 2,100. Beginning in 2017, the Eagles will switch to this revamped north sideline as the home team. A new press box is also being constructed.
The project also includes the installation of a new surface on the Bill Marran Track that circles the football field. The new track has a life expectancy of approximately 20 years with proper maintenance.
The stadium project is funded through the district's Permanent Improvement fund. Permanent Improvement funds are used for making improvements to property and fixed assets and cannot be used for the district's current operating expenses, including salaries.
The project is on schedule to be ready for the first home game. To monitor the progress, click here for a photo gallery.
