Flu season is here: prevention tips
Flu season is here and we have seen an increased number of cases of possible influenza in our schools. We are asking for increased vigilance to help prevent the spread of the flu.
To alleviate the spread of the virus within our schools, we request that no child returns to school until their fever has returned to normal for a minimum of 24 hours without the use of fever-lowering medications.
To combat the further spread of flu in our schools, we are asking parents to keep sick children at home. Any child that displays flu-like symptoms at school will be sent home. Flu-like symptoms include: high fever, runny or stuffy nose/cough, headache, extreme tiredness, body aches, and/or sore throat.
