Congratulations, Milford Class of 2017!

Milford High School held its 135th commencement exercises on Saturday, May 20, at the Cintas Center. There are 535 graduates in the Milford High School Class of 2017. The Valedictorian, Blake Perkins, will attend The Ohio State University to study Biochemistry. Amanda Lee, Salutatorian, will attend Texas A&M where she will study Biomedical Engineering. Achievements

  • $20.7 million in college scholarship offers
  • $7.2 million in scholarships accepted
  • 127 seniors earned an Honors Diploma                             
  • Eighteen students will be joining the military
  • One student, Allan Anbalagan, will be attending an Ivy League college (Dartmouth)
  • 32 graduates who will play sports in college with partial or full athletic and academic scholarships
  • Three National Merit Finalists –Miranda R. Kunes, Brennan J. Dodds, and Amanda J. Lee.
  • Five National Merit Commended Students – Allan Anbalagan, Sam Dobrowolski, Kyle Jones, Melanie Parker, and Blake Perkins.
  • 89 seniors gave 3,937 services hours in calendar year 2016.
  • Senior Tian (Emily) Chen gave 256 hours in 2016 and earned the Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award.
